Did you know that by eating avocado on a daily basis you will be able to decrease cholesterol level?

In a research, conducted in Pennsylvania State University, there were 45 fat people included at age between 21 and 70. They were separated in three groups. Each group had with different cholesterol decreasing diet.

The first one was low-fat diet, the second one was moderate-fat diet and the third one was with avocado. All three diets were very different.

All three diets turned out to give good cholesterol results, but the avocado-based diet gave the best results.

The avocado-diet lowered cholesterol by 13.5 milligrams per deciliter, the diet with moderate fat decreased cholesterol by 8.3 milligrams per deciliter and the low-fat diet resulted in a decline of 7.4 milligrams per deciliter.
