Iron burns
It can sometimes happen you touch the iron, while still hot, and burn yourselves. This can leave a mark is the burn is intense.
Grandma’s advice: Cut an onion in half and place it onto the burned area until you feel relief.
Tongue burn
People often burn their tongue, especially those who do not have the patience to wait for the food to cool.
Grandma’s advice: Take a sip of vinegar, rinse your tongue with it and then spit it. The pain should stop, or at least be reduced, almost instantly.
Stuffy nose
Every time we have caught a cold, we are dealing with stuffy nose.
Grandma’s advice: Put a pinch of sugar onto heat hot plates. When smoke starts coming out of the sugar, try breathing it in, through your nose. If you do this, your nose will most likely be unclogged.
Against yawning
It can sometimes happen to yawn constantly while with friend. This might be pretty uncomfortable.
Grandma’s advice: Use the tip of your tongue to tickle the upper part of your oral cavity. This should make the yawning stop.
